Liebe Yogis,
As i write this, Lucas is currently sailing back to the mainland of italy and reading the new Law text. Details are being worked out.
The new regulations begin Sunday midnight - sooooo Saturday and Sunday is as it has been the last weeks!!! Come and join in!!
AND we know we can go on!!! We need to make multiple groups of 6 now in both rooms. Mindest abstand is 1 metre still (this needs to be clarified) Which means we can have approx. 36-40 students upstairs in one class at a time, and approx. 18 - 20 downstairs (we will measure this in on Monday!). Currently the majority of classes do not exceed this limit , so continue to come, sign your space with a phone number and practice with us!
Classes will be about 80-90 minutes (depending on student numbers) - this will give time for each group of 6 to leave the room once the class is finished. The system will be VERY similar (it will look the same to you perhaps) to what we now have, with just a few creative adjustments - we can do this!!!!
Without wanting to sound police like - you must bring a MNS to class! Students using their t´shirts or jackets instead will no longer be permitted to enter. This helps the shala to stay open and it helps everyone feel safe and looked after!
We will also send our preventions concept to the health minister!!!
Additional requests / suggestions:
1) bring your own mat. This makes packing up faster. You can buy mats from us (i need to order more) OR at Feinheiten (in the altstadt!!!)
2) Disinfect your mat BEFORE class, not after class. THis will make packing up faster
3) You can choose to leave your bag by the wall closest to your mat. This reduces the no.of people using the changerooms. You can also leave your bag downstairs!
4) If possible come wearing your yoga clothes!
5) Pls don´t forget your MNS
6) When only 1 class is happening upstairs and nothing downstairs, after class you can use the toilets downstairs too...and even change in the downstairs room. So we try to spread ourselves out more!
7) Stay at home if you have flu-like symptoms
8) Physically distance yourselves, but stay social! Don´t dig yourself into a hole! Live your life!!

By small adjustments we can do this together! And while this whole business makes many of you tired (as it does me) i do believe we need yoga now more than ever. In fact to date, no yoga studio i know of has reported corona clusters happening in the studio (as per info. from yogaunion.at) . And incidences during sports in general is currently at a very low 1.1%. We need to move for our health and especially to keep our immune system strong. Please inform yourselves about how the transmission mostly occurs and you will feel safer coming to yoga!
