Liebe Yoginis & Yogis,
Easter Holidays.......The spring is upon us and invites change. Out with the old, in with the new - so the saying goes. Can we really embrace change without all the usual anxieties, fear, and/ or hopes that it brings? And, is it wrong or somehow unuseful to feel these human emotions? Clinging or Grasping - for example - be it to what we know, or be it to holding onto a particular way of thinking, clinging to youthfulness, or be it clinging to a particular relationship, is a human tendency that the Buddha suggested is one of the ways we suffer. Luckily, when change happens (which if you watch - will happen as we speak) the Buddha , and Patanjali, gave us some lovely tips with how to manage this without reacting in a way that causes more suffering....
1 - Breathe (of course ...... but consciously watch our breath, and observe; or guide the breath in a particular way, and note through experience how using the breath can support us, and help us to overcome a change which may be challenging and cause suffering
2- Observe our body sensations - on the mat as a formal practise to cultivate the energy to accept change, and as the event is happening, or even how our body continues to react after the event has happened (informal practise). As we closely listen in with how our body reacts to change, the gift of insight will guide us, so that we may choose to react differently next time.
3 - Have Faith and diligence. How can we travel through change without a big dose of faith and diligence? These are qualities that spur us on, give us the energy and joy to continue

Easter Saturday 9:00 - yoga class as usual. Afterwards im looking forward to you all searching high and low for 3 x 1 month unlimited yoga passes (to be used in April - and is non-transferable to another yogi!!). 3 is much more fun than 2......
Easter Sunday - NO classes. Sorry, but we will be busy eating chocolate
Easter Monday - One class with Alexiji at 17:30-19:00
