Getting to Innsbruck - by air :
Innsbruck has its own airport, but unless you get lucky with a charter flight, directly coming to innsbruck may be a bit more expensive. Check it out anyways. Travel code is INN.
The mostly better option is to fly to munich and then take a train or use a shuttle service. The shuttle seervices run directly from the airport to innsbruck, at an afford-to-laugh-able price.

Innsbruck is a smallish (120k people) town inside a huge mountain park :) 

Within innsbruck riding a bike or a kids-scooter gets you anywhere important pretty fast.
Walking also will get you around fast enough when you have an easy schedule.
